A MUST OF THE AUTUMN GASTRONOMY

Every autumn, the vast wealth of wild mushrooms and the deep-rooted culinary tradition of Castilla y León come together in the BUSCASETAS Gastro-Mycological Festival. This immense gastronomic heritage is enjoyed by thousands of diners who flock to restaurants across the region to savor their special mushroom menus and tapas.

In 2025, the festival will run for 16 days and 3 weekends, during which the region’s finest kitchens will offer countless ways to showcase the unique flavors of the exquisite mushrooms and fungi that grow in our mountains, forests, and riverbanks.

THE BIGGEST WITH THE BEST

Since its inception at the dawn of the 21st century, BUSCASETAS has grown into the largest culinary gathering in Spain, thanks to the number of participants, the vast geographical area it covers, and, above all, the sheer number of mushroom menus and tapas offered simultaneously.

Among the participants are numerous establishments awarded Michelin stars or Repsol Suns, as well as the prestigious Royal Inns of Castilla y León.

MUSHROOM MENUS AND TAPAS

On this website, you can explore the mushroom menus and tapas offered by each participant, rate them, and share your favorites on social media. Menu participants are grouped by province and listed alphabetically by their town or city.

Next to each menu, you’ll find the reservation phone number and a geolocated map with the full postal address. Don’t miss it!

500 MUSHROOM RECIPES

BUSCASETAS offers you an incredible Mushroom Recipe Collection, featuring a selection of the finest dishes and tapas from this year’s and previous editions of the festival.

The collection includes nearly 500 recipes, all generously contributed by some of the participating establishments over the past 12 editions.

ENJOY THE HERITAGE OF CASTILLA Y LEÓN

BUSCASETAS is also the perfect excuse to discover (or revisit) the rich and vast monumental, historical, natural, and gastronomic heritage of Castilla y León, while enjoying a mushroom menu or tapa at one of the many participating establishments scattered across the region.

Castilla y León is home to more UNESCO World Heritage Sites than any other territory in the world, boasting 8 officially recognized locations—and many more that certainly deserve the distinction.

Autumn is the perfect time to visit Castilla y León and be amazed by its landscapes: forests painted in a thousand colors, spectacular canyons, majestic mountains, breathtaking waterfalls… Castilla y León awaits you!
