In 2025, BUSCASETAS marks its 24th edition, showcasing the extraordinary variety of wild mushrooms found in the forests of Castilla y León. Guided by centuries of tradition and the skill of the region’s talented chefs, these ingredients are transformed into unforgettable dining experiences.
Recognized as Europe’s richest mushroom region, Castilla y León is proud to host what has become the world’s largest mycological food festival—a celebration measured not only by the vast number of participating establishments, but also by the countless diners who gather to enjoy the season’s most exquisite flavors.
MUSHROOM RECIPE COLLECTION
The finest chefs of Castilla y León share their secrets in the world’s largest mushroom recipe book. With more than 500 recipes of dishes and tapas from all the editions of BUSCASETAS, this collection celebrates the region’s culinary creativity and passion for wild mushrooms.

The Castilla y León delegation of the international chefs’ association Euro-Toques has been the organizer of the Buscasetas Gastronomic Days since their inception in 2001.
